Kurt Angle confirms he will be having neck surgery in early 2024 and will be having artificial discs placed in his neck
Kurt Angle previously stated that he was hoping to have neck surgery in early 2024 now he has confirmed that he will be putting artificial disc replacements in his neck to help with motor skills and overall quality of life.
On the latest episode of The Kurt Angle Show podcast, the former WWE Champion describes the upcoming procedure.
"Just so you know, I'm having neck surgery [at the] beginning of next year. They're going to put in artificial disc replacements and it's going to help [his hands]. I can't really grab things and things always slip out of my hands and fall. I have horrible motor skills," he said. "My arms, they actually atrophied three inches each, and I don't have any muscle [between his thumb and finger], this is completely flat. They're supposed to be muscle in there but it deteriorated. Atrophied. So when I get these rubber discs or disc replacements, they're going to open up the nerves so they can go down my arm so I can have better circulation."
Kurt Angle revealed that the recovery time for the surgery will be two weeks.
No specific date for the surgery was given. Fightful will continue to keep readers informed on Kurt Angle's status as more information is shared.
