Kurt Angle Feels That His Career Defining Match Was Against Chris Benoit At 2003 Royal Rumble PPV

WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle revealed during a recent interview that he inked a five-year deal with WWE and is moving into the direction of becoming a producer within the company. Angle's last match in WWE was at WrestleMania 35 where he fell in defeat to Baron Corbin. Out of the hundreds of matches that Kurt Angle has had throughout his storied career, he views one as his career-defining match and that was against Chris Benoit at the 2003 Royal Rumble pay-per-view for the WWE Championship.

"2003 Royal Rumble World Championship match against Benoit." Angle noted during his Q&A on Facebook. "Watch it. You want to learn and understand the art of pro wrestling? This is the match to watch. PERIOD"

The Olympic Gold medalist was also asked who are some of his closest friends in the wrestling business and he listed off names from WWE and TNA including Brock Lesnar, Rhyno, Edge, AJ Styles and Samoa Joe.
