Kurt Angle Hopes WWE Will One Day Give Bobby Roode 'The Push He Deserves'

Kurt Angle opens up about Bobby Roode in WWE.

Kurt Angle and Bobby Roode wrestled often during their time together in TNA Wrestling. Kurt and Bobby competed at two Bound for Glory events against one another. Eventually, Bobby Roode would get his chance to be a WWE Superstar, joining the NXT brand in 2016.

Roode eventually would be called up to the main roster and found a fair share of success, but Kurt Angle believes WWE never truly gave Bobby Roode the opportunity to succeed.

"They haven't given him a chance yet. He was good in NXT. He was being pushed and utilized properly, not in WWE. Unfortunately for Bobby, I don't know if they're ever going to do it. That's what really sucks. Bobby's at the age now, I think he's like, what, mid-40s, yeah. I don't know if he can wrestle much longer, but I hope they do give him the push he deserves," said Kurt Angle on a recent Q&A episode of his podcast, The Kurt Angle Show.

Most recently, Bobby Roode was paired with Dolph Ziggler on TV. He has since undergone neck fusion surgery and has been out of action for over a year.

It is currently unknown when Bobby Roode will return to action.
