Oba Femi On Potential Match With John Cena: I Don’t Know If Our Paths Are Going To Cross In That Fashion

Oba Femi doesn't think he'll get to face John Cena.

Given the limited nature of his current retirement tour, many fans have started to speculate on John Cena's future opponents and if he'll get to face off against some of his past rivals like CM Punk and AJ Styles.

Some fans have even pitched that Cena should wrestle some of NXT's best stars like Oba Femi, Trick Williams, and Je'Von Evans.

Despite hoping that it will happen, Femi doesn't think a match with Cena will end up coming to fruition before the future Hall Of Famer hangs up his boots.

“I wish. I wish. But, he’s in the twilight of his career. He’s winding down, I’m just getting started. I don’t know if our paths are going to cross in that fashion, I hope it does, but I don’t think so.” Femi told the No Contest Wrestling Podcast in a recent interview.

Cena was dropped with a RKO on Monday's edition of Raw. Learn more about the segment by clicking here.

Elsewhere in the interview, Femi spoke about Hikuleo and Lance Anoa'i in NXT. Check out his full comments here.
