Kurt Angle provides an update on the status of Randy Orton.
Randy Orton hasn't been seen in the ring since the May 20, 2022 episode of WWE SmackDown, when Jimmy and Jey Uso defeated him and Matt Riddle in a WWE Tag Team Title unification match.
Fightful Select reported in November 2022 that Randy underwent a fusion in his lower back.
On the most recent episode of his podcast, Kurt Angle provided an update on Randy Orton, saying that Randy has recovered from back surgery. Angle believes Randy Orton will return to the squared circle very soon.
"He's doing good, man. He's recovered from his back surgery. I think he's going to come back pretty damn soon. He's doing much better, yes," said Kurt.
Randy Orton's father, "Cowboy" Bob Orton Jr., recently stated that he believes doctors have told his son not to return to action. Read more here.
It is unknown if or when Randy Orton will return to the ring.
