Kurt Angle's weekly Q&A session.
WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle made a surprise return to Monday Night RAW this week and emerged victorious in a Battle Royal to secure his spot in the WWE World Cup tournament. Angle was not in his usual American flag-themed singlet but was dressed up as "The Conquistador" in an all-gold body suit.
During his weekly Q&A session on Facebook, one of the first questions that Angle was asked about was what was it like wrestling in the body suit and Angle replied with the following:
"It sucked. I felt like I was squeezed into a big condom...lol, but it was fun." He noted.
Also on the October 8th edition of RAW, WWE Hall Of Famers Lita and Trish Stratus returned who Kurt has known and worked with for a number of years. Angle shared his thoughts on the returns of the former multi-time WWE Womens Champions.
"Lita and Trish made an everlasting impression on Women’s wrestling. They were incredible talents that knew how to “wrestle” when women were considered “Divas” and not Superstars. Today the women have stepped it up. But if it weren’t for Trish and Lita, the women’s division may have never evolved." Kurt expressed.
Kurt Angle was then asked for his funniest off-screen memory with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon. Angle told the story of how Vince wanted to wrestle while they were on a international flight.
"When he and I wrestled on a plane during an international flight. I didn’t want to do it, but Vince was in a crazy mood. So we’d wrestle for a while and stop. Then Vince would attack me again. Then he’d stop. Over and over. I just wanted to sleep. The flight attendant told us to stop, but Vince wanted to wrestle, so we wrestled.... for 4 hours. Lol." He revealed.
As mentioned, Kurt Angle qualified for the WWE World Cup and there are four spots taken in the eight-man tournament and a fifth spot will be secured this upcoming Tuesday as Shinsuke Nakamura and the returning Rey Mysterio clash at SmackDown 1000.
