2024 is for the short, bald, kings with a so-so credit score.
Willow Nightingale and Kris Statlander are making waves as a tag team in AEW. They're doing this although Stokely Hathaway wants Statlander to give him an opportunity as a manager so that he can take her career to new heights. Hathaway recently introduced the tag team before their match on the January 5 AEW Rampage, giving a much more flattery introduction to the former TBS Champion as opposed to her partner.
Nightingale and Statlander were not super appreciative and Stokely has enlisted the help of WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle to explain why they should #GiveStokelyAChance.
"Willow and Stat, it's former World Champion, Kurt Angle. It hurts me deeply how you treated my boy. Stokely had a flight to Japan to run Moxley over with a Mitsubishi at Wrestle Kingdom, but he chose to be on Rampage to watch you two live. That, to me, is it changed man. 2024 is for the short, bald, kings with a so-so credit score. Oh, it's true. It's damn true. #GiveStokelyAChance."
Kurt Angle is truly a man of true intensity, integrity, and intelligence. There was also more to the video but the next part is surely inconsequential.
"Okay, I'm glad that's freaking done. Stokely, where's my money, or am I going to have to kick your ass?"

Kurt Angle: A true American hero.
Angle was once approached about coming to AEW. Learn more about the amount of money he would have wanted for 10 matches at this link.
Statlander and Nightingale competing more often in tag team matches helps make a case for future AEW Women's Tag Team Championship belts. Learn what Tony Khan has to say about those titles potentially coming to AEW here.
