KUSHIDA said he had signed with NJPW and that he would spend the rest of his wrestling life in an NJPW ring.

KUSHIDA is a former six-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion and two-time Best of the Super Juniors winner.

He left NJPW in 2019 to sign with WWE, where he was part of the NXT brand. His time with NXT ended in April when his contract expired.
