KUSHIDA will compete on the January 18 episode of AEW Dynamite.
As announced during the January 13 episode of AEW Rampage, KUSHIDA will make his AEW debut when he challenges Darby Allin for the TNT Championship. KUSHIDA is currently signed to NJPW; he spent a few years with WWE after he signed with the company in 2019, and he left the company when his contract expired in April 2022. Allin successfully defended the title against Juice Robinson on Friday.
In another title match, Orange Cassidy will defend the AEW All-Atlantic Championship against Jay Lethal. The two stars have clashed in the past, and they reignited their feud on Friday's episode of AEW Rampage. Cassidy, Trent Beretta, and Chuck Taylor made the save when Lethal, Jarrett, Sonjay Dutt, and Satnam Singh attacked Paul Walter Hauser. Lethal and Dutt stole Hauser's Golden Globe, so Cassidy will aim to avenge the actor on Wednesday.
Elsewhere on the show, the Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) will battle Top Flight (Dante & Darius Martin). Plus, one week after Hangman Page defeated Jon Moxley, Renee Paquette will speak with the former champion in the aftermath of his win.
AEW President Tony Khan also announced that Willow Nightingale will take on Toni Storm in a singles match.
