Kyle Fletcher: If We’re Struggling For Ideas, Chuck Me And Will Ospreay In The Ring. We’ll Make Magic

Kyle Fletcher talks about his rivalry with Will Ospreay and the possibility that they will fight forever throughout their careers.

Kyle Fletcher betrayed Will Ospreay at AEW WrestleDream 2024 at the behest of Don Callis. Since then, they have engaged in a bitter and bloody rivalry, which reached a crescendo inside a steel cage at AEW Revolution 2025. Now, Fletcher is reflecting on the story so far.

During an appearance on Good Karma Wrestling, Kyle Fletcher said it's rewarding to reach this point in his career where fans feel like he's found his wrestling soulmate. He looks forward to revisiting the rivalry on an annual basis at least.

"It’s really cool. It’s my first opportunity in all of wrestling where I’ve been able to delve into a story and how to tell this story the best way. It’s really rewarding that people are saying stuff like that. ‘Oh, they are wrestling soulmates. They could fight for ten years I’d still be into it.’ The fact that we’ve hit that is rewarding, but at the same time, in the back of my head, I now know that any point over the next decade, two decades, three decades -- we have decades left of this shit, hopefully -- we could revisit this rivalry every year. Once a year, twice a year, and as soon as that match gets announced and as soon as we’re seen in the ring together, there is going to be an anticipation purely based off the stuff we’ve already done. That’s the coolest part. I just know now that, if we’re ever struggling for ideas, chuck me and Ospreay in the ring. We’ll make some magic," he said.
