LA Knight has a great track record at WWE SummerSlam, winning the Slim Jim Battle Royal in 2023 and winning the WWE United States Championship in 2024.
Knight is already dubbed The Megastar, and he might add "Mr. SummerSlam" to his list of names if he continues to find success at the annual summer event.
"Man, don't go coining the phrase here," Knight said with a laugh while speaking to Brad Gilmore, who called him "Mr. SummerSlam."
Knight continued, "I might end having to be Mr. SummerSlam. Who knows. Never been one before. Now that I think about it, with the Slim Jim Battle Royal last year, US Championship this year. Who knows what SummerSlam 2025 could bring along. I took over the United States Championship, I may take over the world. We'll see what lies ahead."
Knight is coming off a successful title defense against Ludig Kaiser on the August 30th episode of WWE SmackDown.
Andrade and Carmelo Hayes will battle to determine the next contender for Knight and the US Title on the September 13th episode of WWE SmackDown.
