LA Knight: John Cena Might Want This WWE US Title One More Time

Would LA Knight be down to defend his WWE United States championship against John Cena? YEAH!

John Cena is gearing up for his final WWE tour. In 2025, John Cena will participate in under 40 WWE events, and this tour will mark the end of his WWE career. Naturally, WWE Superstars, both familiar and unfamiliar to Cena, are lining up to try and be a part of this historic time in WWE.

During one of John Cena's most recent WWE runs, he teamed with LA Knight against Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa at WWE Fastlane 2023. Now, Knight is the current WWE United States Champion, and even though John has held that title several times, Knight says he's open to giving Cena one more shot at US Title glory.

Knight was asked about potentially facing John Cena during a live signing at Fanatics Fest NYC, and he was very receptive to the idea. He called Cena a staple of the history of the United States championship.

"Former tag partners. You never know. He might want to come back and get this United States Championship one more time—a guy who has been a staple for this championship. I would field that challenge, for sure. With him being my tag partner, I might just know him a little bit. You talk about the greatest of all time and what some might call the future."

While Superstars are lining up for the opportunity to challenge John Cena, Cena is not interested in handpicking opponents. Instead, he wants to make the most of whatever awaits him.

Bron Breakker has also challenged John Cena to come and face him for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Learn more about that here.
