LA Knight Is Not A Moron And Knows That 'Play' Is A Verb And Not An Adjective

LA Knight knows the difference between a verb and an adjective because he is not a moron.

In 1996, Kevin Nash famously said that the word "play" was an adjective when arriving on the scene in WCW. Play is actually a verb, and while the internet has had its fair share of teasing Kevin Nash about that through the years, LA Knight decided to have a little fun at the expense of the WWE Hall of Famer on the September 8 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown.

While making fun of The Miz's theme song, "I Came to Play," Knight said, "If he was a complete moron, he would ask people to look at the adjective," but since he's not a moron, he's going to look at the verb.

In the past, Kevin Nash has talked about LA Knight, originally saying that he felt Knight was just doing his own version of The Rock's material. Fans can read more about Kevin's thoughts on Knight at this link.

LA Knight had a busy night on September 8 as he also had his first face-to-face interaction with Paul Heyman. Learn more here.
