LA Knight scores another victory and racks up another successful defense of the WWE United States Championship.
LA Knight defeated Andrade on the September 20th episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown to retain the WWE United States Championship. With this victory, LA Knight has officially defeated his opponent in more championship defenses than previous WWE United States Champion Logan Paul.
This was LA Knight's third successful defense. He had previously defeated Santos Escobar and Ludwig Kaiser
Paul had defended the title twice. Still, one of those championship retentions from Logan was a disqualification victory, not a definitive win, as he defeated Kevin Owens by disqualification at the 2024 WWE Royal Rumble event.

Following the victory, Andrade and Knight shared a brief moment of respect, but one person who still doesn't respect Andrade is his adversary, Carmelo Hayes. After the match, Carmelo and Andrade got into another physical altercation backstage and had to be separated by backstage personnel.
For LA Knight, it's on to the next, but it is currently uncertain who will be the next challenger for the WWE United States Championship.
