Lacey Evans Says Her Dream Opponent Is Whoever Has The Championship

Lacey Evans has one goal and that is to be the face of WWE.

Lacey Evans has now been a part of WWE's main roster for four months. Throughout her time on the main roster she has competed in the Women's Royal Rumble match and made various appearances on RAW and on pay-per-views to simply let everyone in attendance know that she was in the building. Although Lacey is focused on being the example of what it means to be a real lady, she also wants to be the top star in WWE. Lacey Evans recently chatted with James Delow of the Gorilla Position podcast and was asked who is her dream opponent. Evans replied by saying that whomever is holding the championship title is her dream opponent and added that she wants to be the face of WWE.

Dax Harwood: I Want To Remind People That FTR Is The Greatest Tag Team In The World

“Anyone with the title. I get asked this a lot, and you know what? I go for the gold. My whole life… don’t get me wrong, any opportunity is great but if you honestly would like [for] me to tell you the truth of who I would like to get my hands on, give me someone that has the championship title, because that is what I want. Is that not everybody’s goal? And if it’s not, they’re lying if they tell you that." Lacey expressed. "If they tell you opposite... I want to be a champion. I want to be the face of WWE because I know that I am capable of setting the proper example for women and people all over the world so, hopefully that time comes sooner than later but yes, that would be who I would like to get my hands on.”

During this very interview, Lacey Evans recalled her experience working the 2019 Royal Rumble pay-per-view and shared that she did not find out what the plans were for her at the Rumble until she arrived at the venue. For more on that, check out Fightful's published article about the topic.
