LAX Challenge The North For Tag Team Titles At IMPACT Mexico TV Tapings

LAX returns on Thursday.

IMPACT Wrestling announced that LAX (Santana & Ortiz) will challenge The North (Ethan Page & Josh Alexander) for the IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Titles this Thursday at the television tapings in Mexico. The North defeated LAX to win the Tag Team Titles at IMPACT Wrestling Bash At The Brewery on July 5. Two nights later, The North defeated LAX and The Rascalz (Dez & Wentz) to retain the titles. LAX has not teamed together on IMPACT since. Ortiz teamed with Daga on the Aug. 9 episode of IMPACT Wrestling to face The North, with the makeshift version of LAX losing.

Triple H Comments On How WWE Will Support WWE ID Prospects

While LAX haven't appeared together on IMPACT since Slammiversary, the duo recently made an appearance at HOG High Intensity 8, losing to The New York Wrecking Krew (Chris Seaton & Smoothe Blackmon). Following the bout, LAX took a bow for the New York audience

The IMPACT contracts of Santana & Ortiz are reportedly set to expire this summer, though no date was given. One report suggested that Slammiversary was their last match with IMPACT, although that doesn't appear to be the case. The duo reportedly has offers from AEW and WWE.
