Layla reflects on her on-screen pairing with William Regal.
Layla was paired with William Regal for a brief time in late 2008 during Regal's reign as WWE King of the Ring and WWE Intercontinental Champion. The pairing was short-lived, but Layla still learned much from the veteran.
During an interview on the They Made Their Way to the Ring podcast, Layla reflected on how much she was able to pick up from just being ringside for William Regal's matches.
"To be with William Regal was amazing. How was that even possible? I learned so much just standing there. I learned so much. It was definitely a life experience. With him and the way he wrestles, everything is so real. Everything makes sense. I really enjoy that."
