Layla wrapped up her full-time career in 2015, working live events against Saraya (Paige in WWE).
Layla is a former WWE Women's Champion and WWE Divas Champion.
Layla has kept a low profile since finishing her career, but she was asked to return in 2022 for the women's Royal Rumble.
"I was asked to one. I do remember it was a legends one. I was asked, but at that time I was completely shut off. I haven't watched Evolution. I will look at it. I watched the Royal Rumble that I was asked to be part of when Kelly Kelly and Melina came back. I did watch that one," she said on They Made Their Way To The Ring.
When asked if she would be open to a future Royal Rumble appearance, she replied, "Never say never."
It is unknown if or when Layla will return to the ring.
