Lex Luger was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2025.
The induction ceremony took place on Friday night and inductees were introduced at WrestleMania 41 Saturday inside the stadium. Luger was noticably absent from the festivities on Saturday.
"It's wild how that stuff catches fire. With all that happened, the next day on Saturday, I could hardly get out of bed. I called the guys and they were cool about it. They said, 'Look, we'd love to have you down there. Let's see how you feel later in the day,' but it was obvious by later in the afternoon that I wasn't going to be able to get out there," said Luger while speaking to Ariel Helwani on the Ariel Helwani Show.
Diamond Dallas Page, who inducted Luger, noted that Lex would have been there if he could, but Friday was a late night and they were used to being on the east coast.
