Leyla Hirsch has been removed from the AEW roster page on their official website.
Hirsch was listed as of February 28th, appearing between Leila Grey and Madison Rayne.
Mike Johnson at PWInsider reported on February 27 that Hirsch would be departing AEW. The report stated, "Hirsch's AEW contract expires [February 28] and she will not be remaining with the promotion. Hirsch will be a free agent immediately at that time."
"Legit" Leyla signed with AEW in 2021 and spent the majority of her run on ROH. She made her AEW debut in 2020.
She last wrestled at ROH Final Battle 2024, challenging Red Velvet for the ROH Women's TV Championship. She suffered an injury at ROH Death Before Dishonor in a Texas Deathmatch against Diamante and was sidelined from July to November 2024.
She wrestled Kris Statlander, Kamille, Jade Cargill, Serena Deeb, and Hikaru Shida during her run with the company. Hirsch previously made it clear that she wanted to win gold in ROH.
