The hype man re-gains the trust of "The Dominator".
In the second match of tonight's episode of Monday Night RAW, Finn Balor defended the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Bobby Lashley. Bobby Lashley was solo for the majority of the match until "The 24 Year Old Piece Of Gold" Lio Rush distracted Finn Balor by ringing the ring bell and when it appeared that Balor re-gained control of the situation, he was speared in mid-air by Bobby Lashley and now, Lashley is a two-time WWE Intercontinental Champion.

It was back at the 'Elimination Chamber' pay-per-view where Finn Balor captured the Intercontinental Championship in a Handicap match against the then-champion Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush. Balor had the stipulation in his favor as he could pin either man to win the title and he pinned Lio Rush which caused turmoil in Lashley and Lio's relationship. Bobby Lashley verbally lashed out on Lio over the past several weeks leading up to tonight's RAW but Rush got himself back into Lashley's good graces by helping him become a two-time Intercontinental Champion.
Former WWE creative writer Kazeem Famuyide recalled his experiences working with Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush during a recent interview and to check out one of Fightful's published articles from that interview, click here.
