Lio Rush recently competed against Joey Janela and what may have been his last match ever but the former NXT Cruiserweight Champion that is that he alone must decide what path to walk.
The former WWE Superstar competed against his greatest independent wrestling rival at GCW Homecoming Night Two but before he could officially retire, Joey cut him off and told him that he wouldn't accept Rush retiring when he felt that he still had so much to offer.
Taking to Instagram for a Q&A, Rush revealed that he would not consider the door to wrestling closed, saying that it is ultimately his decision to walk through that door once again.
“The door is always open, I feel. Whether or not I choose to step in that pathway again is the real question.”
Rush also named his NXT Cruiserweight Championship match with Angel Garza as his favorite WWE match and much more.
