Unless you completely avoid all wrestling fandom on the internet, you have heard at some point in the last year rumors, wishes, and “scrapped plans” concerning Liv Morgan potentially playing Sister Abigail alongside Bray Wyatt.
Sister Abigail is the guiding spirit of the Bray Wyatt character. The shed where her spirit lived was burned down by Randy Orton and at one point, Wyatt himself was supposed to play this character in a match against Finn Balor’s Demon King. Currently, the character is represented by the Abbey the Witch puppet in Bray Wyatt's Firefly Fun House.
Speaking with Sportskeeda, Liv Morgan finally put those rumors to bed but did profess that she is flattered by them even if it is all just fanfiction.
"I think it's very flattering fanfiction. I was never, you know, respectfully, hoping to be Sister Abigail. I was never pushing to be Sister Abigail." Morgan said. "I went away for a while and I'm finding myself and I'm exploring myself and I have all these thoughts and emotions and I'm trying to let people know without literally saying it. And they just, kind of, wanted me to return so bad. I think that that was, they felt that was it. They felt that that was it. That was what I was going to be doing. That's a very flattering, you know, fanfic. But all it is is fanfic."
Liv Morgan now has an opportunity to become a WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion as she and Ruby Riott will challenge Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler this Sunday at WWE Clash of Champions for the gold. As for Bray Wyatt, he appears to have successfully entranced one female member of the WWE roster, Alexa Bliss.
