Liv Morgan Loves That WWE Has Opened The Forbidden Door, Wants To Wrestle 'Literally Everyone'

Liv Morgan is more than ready to walk through the forbidden door.

With Mickie James returning to WWE for one night only to enter the 2022 Royal Rumble match, it has opened up a new world of possibilities as, for the first time in a long time, WWE is openly working with another major promotion in order to add star power to its Royal Rumble match.

One person who is very excited to mix it up with the IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts World Champion is Liv Morgan. In recent months, Liv Morgan has been steadily climbing the ladder and looking to obtain gold in her own right and there is no better opportunity for a WWE Superstar to look to obtain gold than the Royal Rumble match.

Speaking with Sportskeeda’s Kevin Kellam ahead of the Royal Rumble event, Liv Morgan explains how excited she is to see Mickie James in the Royal Rumble and to see WWE show a little leeway by allowing a Superstar from another organization to be in the Royal Rumble match.

"When I think of wrestling, when I think of this forbidden door, when I think about Mickie James coming over, I just it makes me happy," said Morgan. "I don't see brands, networks, and different shows. I just see family in a weird way. Like, we all have the same goal. We all have the same purpose. We're all doing this together and whether it's separate, it's the same thing everywhere you go. I love that and I hope it's just the beginning of more kind of integration between the different networks with different programs, different superstars. I love that she's gonna get to represent [IMPACT] and their division at the Royal Rumble, which is one of the big four pay-per-views that we have all year. It's a huge, huge, huge, huge platform. But I think it's amazing, and I welcome it and I hope we get to do more of it."

Asked whether or not she'd like to represent WWE elsewhere, Liv Morgan named several stars she'd like to wrestle as she wants to wrestle "literally everywhere."

"I will go anywhere and everywhere. I would — that'd be a dream of mine. I want to wrestle everybody. I want to wrestle legitimately everyone," she beamed. "Oh my gosh, I would love to wrestle Mickie James. I'd love to wrestle Deonna Purrazzo. I love to wrestle Britt Baker. I'd love to wrestle Abadon. I'd love to wrestle Ruby Soho. I'd love to wrestle Penelope Ford, Nyla Rose, Chelsea Green, you know, I want to wrestle everyone. So this is exciting for me because it feels like it could be the beginning of something great and something new. It's the kind of feels bigger than wrestling in a way. So, to sum it up, I love that Mickie James is gonna be here."

On the most recent episode of IMPACT on AXS TV, Mickie James said that it should she win the Royal Rumble, she will defend her Knockouts Championship at WrestleMania in a title for title situation. Learn more here.
