On the August 12th episode of WWE Raw, WWE Women's World Champion Liv Morgan highlighted how she took the title and Dominik Mysterio from Rhea Ripley. The fans chanted, "Sloppy seconds," and Morgan said that she would happily have Dominik's sloppy seconds.
Zelina Vega took to Twitter to poke fun at Morgan for wanting Dominik's sloppy seconds. Morgan fired back by saying that Vega was sitting at home making her own vignettes, so she should shut up.

Morgan previously defended the WWE Women's World Championship against Vega on the July 1st episode of WWE Raw. The following week, Morgan and Dominik Mysterio beat Vega and Rey Mysterio.
Vega last wrestled on the July 22nd episode of WWE Raw, where she beat Zoey Stark.
