Despite being from Germany, Ludwig Kaiser was noticeably absent from the WWE Bash in Berlin 2024 card.
Instead, Kaiser answered LA Knight's open challenge for the WWE United States Title on the August 30th episode of WWE SmackDown in Berlin, receiving a huge ovation when his music hit.
Speaking to Chris Van Vliet on Insight, Kaiser was asked about his absence from the PLE.
"I did fight for it. There were conversations about it, and it wasn't really clear if it would happen or not. It's tough. It's a PLE and we have so much stuff, if you look at the card that night. It is almost impossible to ever get on there. There is so much star power and we have the greatest superstars in the world. When I look at that card, I understand why we weren't on that card that night. I damn well know I will be. I will 100% be. Germany showed out that night and it's a great market for the company. It was my first time there with WWE. There are a lot of shows to come and a lot of opportunities. I can definitely promise you Ludwig Kaiser is going to use all of those," he said.
He did appear on WWE Bash in Berlin as Gunther's ring announcer.
Elsewhere during the interview, Kaiser commented on possibly teaming with Tiffany Stratton in Mixed Match Challenge. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
