Ludwig Kaiser makes his return to the ring.
After being out of action for over a month due to a rib injury, Kaiser made his return to the ring on the August 5 edition of WWE Raw to face Sheamus in a singles bout. Unfortunately, Kaiser was not succuessful in this venture, as he lost to Sheamus via pinfall after getting nailed with a Brogue Kick. The finishing move came just moments after Pete Dunne attempted to get involved in the bout.

This is Sheamus' first singles win since the July 15 edition of WWE Raw, where he defeated Bronson Reed. Furthermore, this loss brings Kaiser's three match winning streak on Raw to an end.
