LuFisto reveals she is currently sidelined with an injury.
LuFisto is a renowned competitor on the independent scene, and she was inducted into the Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2022. In recent months, she has wrestled for ICW No Holds Barred, GCW, C4, and Beyond, among other promotions.
In a tweet, LuFisto announced that she got knocked out when she hit her head on a steel shelf; she noted that she was at work, and she was bending down to put a product on the shelf. LuFisto stated that she suffered a mild concussion and a cervical sprain, so she will listen to the doctor and rest as long as needed.
The full message is as follows:
Long story short, I went through two death matches fine but got knocked out at work three days later.
I suffered a mild concussion and a cervical sprain from hitting my head real hard on a steel shelf as I bent down to put one of our products on the bottom shelf.
Yes, this is absolutely ridiculous.
Anyway, I'm listening to the doctor and I will rest as long as needed. I'm hoping to be back for the next C4 Wrestling show on the 28th but I'll see how I feel then.
I want to make sure I'm back at 100% so I can give you the very best of me.
Thank you.
LuFisto
LuFisto last wrestled at ICW No Holds Barred Volume 45 on April 1, where Kasey Kirk beat her in a Death Match.
Fightful wishes LuFisto well in her recovery, and we will provide more information as it becomes available.
