Dragon Lee found some help in a couple of main-roster acquaintances who made their return to NXT on December 19.
Dragon Lee defeated both Joe Gacy and Charlie Dempsey to retain the NXT North American Title on December 19's WWE NXT. Lee got the victory by defeating Dempsey. Afterward, the other members of the No Quarter Catch Crew, Myles Bourne, Drew Gulak, and Damon Kemp attacked the North American Champion when he was saved by Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro of the Latino World Order.
With the added help, Lee chased off the quartet and celebrated his victory.

Wilde and Del Toro used to be members of Legado Del Fantasma on NXT. They are no longer associated with Santos Escobar as he turned his back on Rey Mysterio and left the LWO. Dragon Lee is not an official member of the LWO but is close with Rey Mysterio.
