Lyra Valkyria will arrive on the December 13 episode of NXT.
A vignette on the November 29 episode teased the return of the former Aoife Valkyrie. The following week, another vignette confirmed that she will "descend" on NXT on the December 13 episode of the show.
In the video, Valkyria noted that there comes a time when a bird stops circling its prey, and she is prepared to strike. She stated that NXT is her home now, and her rise will begin next week.

Valkyrie had been featured on the NXT UK brand until it went on hiatus due to the looming launch of NXT Europe. She last wrestled on the August 26, 2021 episode of NXT UK, where she defeated Jinny.
