The commentary team for the Mae Young Classic has been revealed.
WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix, all-around personality Renee Young, and lead Raw commentator Michael Cole will be your three person booth for the second annual tournament. Jim Ross and Lita handled commentary duties for last year's Classic.
Matches for the tournament will be filmed on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. The Parade of Champions will steam live on WWE social media starting at 7 pm ET on Wednesday night. The tournament will begin airing on WWE Network starting Sept. 5. The finals of the Classic will take place the historical Evolution event on Oct. 28.
Competitors include Japanese superstar Io Shirai, former TNA Knockouts champion Madison Rayne, former WWE Diva's champion and NXT season 3 winner Kaitlyn, and ROH Women of Honor 2017 Wrestler of the Year Deonna Purrazzo.
Fightful will provide live coverage and discussion for Evolution in October as well as Mae Young Classic updates thoughout the tournament.
