Magnum TA Wants To See Bayley As The First WWE Women's United States Champion

Magnum TA believes Bayley would make a good inaugural WWE Women's United States Champion.

During his short career, Magnum TA held the United States Championship on a number of occasions, including when he captured it in a legendary I Quit Steel Cage Match with Tully Blanchard at NWA Starrcade 1985.

Now, WWE is introducing a Women's United States Championship to add an extra layer to the women's division on WWE Friday Night SmackDown. Magnum sees the introduction of this new championship as a way to add another accolade to Bayley's resume, allowing her to showcase her versatility.

When asked by Dominic DeAngelo on the Straight Talk with The Boss podcast who he thinks the inaugural champion should be, Magnum TA said, "Bayley. She's incredible."

He continued, "Well, her interview is so genuine and her timing in the rain is really good. She's great. She's a good heel, a good babyface. Either way, she's a very very capable performer."

Greg Gagne, Magnum's co-host, agreed, adding that she "works like a guy" and "she's old school."

Two wrestling legends are supportive of Bayley potentially making history if she can become champion at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event. She's already off to a good start as she has advanced to the semifinals of the tournament. Learn more here.
