Mahabali Shera Signs With IMPACT Wrestling

Mahabali Shera is coming back to IMPACT Wrestling.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Mahabali Shera has signed with IMPACT Wrestling. Details of the deal were not given. The 28-year-old was in TNA/IMPACT from 2015 to 2017 before leaving. He signed with WWE in 2018 but was recently released, paving the way for him to rejoin IMPACT Wrestling.

Shera, who competed under the name Amanpreet Singh in NXT, was mainly used as an enhancement talent in NXT. He never appeared on NXT television, working exclusively at live events. He last wrestled Mar. 16 at a live event in Florida, losing to Mansoor Al-Shehail. 

The native of Punjab, India last appeared on IMPACT television on Nov. 4 on an episode of Xplosion, defeating Trevor Lee. He was a regular on television but never got past the midcard. He did make it to quarterfinals of the TNA World Heavyweight Title Series in 2015 before losing to Bobby Lashley.

He began his wrestling career in 2011 under the Ring Ka King promotion. He made to the semifinals of their inaugural World Heavyweight Title tournament, losing to Scott Steiner.
