Alex Hammerstone calls his shot.
It's finally happening. In a special interview with Alicia Atout, Alex Hammerstone, the winner of the MLW Battle Riot and MLW National Openweight Champion, has declared that he will finally fight Jacob Fatu for the MLW World Heavyweight Championship on October 2 at MLW Fightland in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Hammerstone has been trying to get this match with Fatu for months as he has felt that it was inevitable that their paths would cross. Throughout the months building to this impending match, Hammerstone made enemies out of all of CONTRA, particularly Mads Kruger, whom he last eliminated to win Battle Riot.
The match will go down in the famous 2300 Arena, formerly the ECW Arena, the same place where Hammerstone won Battle Riot. Also at that event, MLW will begin its annual Opera Cup Tournament. Learn more here.
