Malakai Black is a Collision guy.
While Tony Khan has stated there is no hard brand split for AEW Dynamite and AEW Collision, House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King, Buddy Matthews, & Julia Hart) have been prominently featured on Collision since the show launched.
There is a reason for that.
"I requested to be strictly on Collision. I don't want people to get the pick. Saturday night, I get to see House of Black. If I give you the option for Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, you're going to go, 'it doesn't really matter. I'll tune in whenever. They'll be here.' I don't want to lose the polish," Malakai said on the Undisputed podcast with Bobby Fish.
The House of Black are the reigning AEW Trios Champions.
Black has not competed on Collision as of yet, but Matthews and King have had featured bouts against Andrade El Idolo.
