Maria Kanellis recently announced that her AEW contract is coming up on October 31st, and she was not sure whether the company would be re-signing her. She then stated that she would be taking interviews about her experience in AEW after October 31st, and she would be available for bookings starting in December.

On October 9th, Maria Kanellis responded to some comments from fans and critics. When asked whether she wanted to stay with AEW or venture elsewhere, Kanellis stated that she wanted to work, she wanted to help, and she wanted to take care of my family.

Kanellis also responded to someone who said that she had complained and badmouthed her ex-employers by saying that she had not said anything. She wrote that her contract was coming up, and she was proactive about her career. Kanellis also wrote that she was worried about her upcoming surgery, and she needed to plan.

Kanellis previously provided an update on her health and noted that she was scheduled for surgery in October.
