Mariah May Calls Willow Nightingale Pro Wrestling's Pain In The Ass, Asks Mina Shirakawa To Do Her Dance

Mariah May says Willow Nightingale ruined the moment.

Mariah May retained the AEW Women's World Championship at AEW Dynamite Grand Slam, as she defeated Yuka Sakazaki. Willow Nightingale made the save after the match, and when the arrival of Mina Shirakawa distracted her, May attacked Willow. She then celebrated with Shirakawa.

Mansoor: We've Got To Call Out The Young Bucks, The Way They Are Dressed Is Just Tragic

In a digital exclusive, Mariah May, alongside Mina Shirakawa, expressed her frustration.

Mariah May: Wow, Willow. You really know how to ruin a moment, don’t you? I successfully defeated the bully, Yuka, and successfully defended my AEW Women’s World Championship. This is what it looks like, in case you’ve never seen it before. Then this precious H-cup angel flew all the way from Japan just to see me, just to celebrate with me.

Mina Shirakawa: What happened?

MM: Pro wrestling’s pain in the ass Willow Nightingale, that’s what happened. Now you have to go back to Japan? Why do you have to do back to Japan?

MS: It’s nothing. Nothing.

MM: Willow, you ruined my celebration. It’s not my fault you have nothing to celebrate. Mina, give them something. Do the dance.

Mina then did her famous dance, so they somewhat salvaged the celebration.

Shirakawa dodged the question when May asked her why she had to return to Japan. Mina is set to team up with May's bitter rival Toni Storm at the STARDOM event on September 28th.
