Mariah May says something is missing.
Mariah May has postponed her AEW Women's World Championship Celebration twice since she won the title by defeating Toni Storm at AEW All In. She opted not to have it on the August 28th episode of AEW Dynamite, and she also delayed the celebration when she was slated to have it at AEW All Out.
On the September 11th episode of AEW Dynamite, Mariah May defeated Queen Aminata in an AEW Women's World Championship Eliminator. After the match, May was clearly upset about her lack of a celebration. She said that something, or someone, was missing. May then asked Mina Shirakawa to come back.
Will Mariah May EVER have her #AEW Women's World Championship Celebration? Who or what is missing?

Shirakawa was part of the storyline between May and Storm heading into AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. Her history with May tested May's loyalty. Storm beat Shirakawa to retain the title at the pay-per-view, and all three women celebrated together. Shirakawa was later asked about May turning on Storm, and she said she loved them both. She last wrestled on AEW programming on the August 30 episode of AEW Rampage.
As of this writing, there is no word on when Mina Shirakawa will return to AEW programming. Fightful will provide more information as it becomes available.
