Mariah May teases her next move.
STARDOM took to social media and shared a clip of a brief interview with Mariah May. The interviewer noted that May would be in action at the finals of the 5STAR Grand Prix 2023 on September 30, where she will face Hanan.
"It’s gonna be emotional, it’s gonna be sad. Then I have to get up at six a.m. to catch a flight," May said.
The interviewer stated that May would be going back to the U.K., and she briefly responded by saying, "Maybe", before she walked away.

In August, Fightful Select reported that there have been discussions within AEW about potentially working with May, and the company was picking up steam as a potential landing point. The report noted that there was traction of her going there. There was also speculation that she was finishing up in japan, as she shut down her Big Cartel store and tweeted that she was thankful for this chapter in her life.
AEW will hold AEW WrestleDream from the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington, on Sunday, October 1.
May made her STARDOM debut in December 2022, and she has regularly competed for the company ever since. She previously won the Goddess of STARDOM Championship with Mina Shirakawa.
