The Briscoe family has grown.
ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe took to social media to introduce the world to his newborn child, Matthew Jamin Pugh. The post included a picture of the baby. The child's middle name is a nod to Mark's brother Jay Briscoe, real name Jamin Pugh, who passed away in January 2023.

This birth brings Mark's number of children with his wife up to eight, as they have five boys and three girls.
Mark discussed the pregnancy in an interview with Sports Illustrated in November and joked that learning about his other kids' gender was like a World Series.
“That’s right, we have baby number eight on the way. It’s almost a whole baseball team. For the first seven, it was like a World Series that went down to Game 7. It went girl, girl, girl, and I thought it was going to be a four-game sweep. Then we had boy, boy, boy. So it came down to a Game 7, and it was a boy. The boys took it. My wife is amazing. We have a gaggle of kids," Briscoe said.
Mark Briscoe competed at AEW Dynasty, where he, Eddie Kingston, and Adam Copeland lost to the House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King, and Buddy Matthews).
