Mark Henry Feels That Randy Orton Is Making His Way Onto The Top-Ten Of All-Time List

Mark Henry has high praise for Randy Orton and makes a case for he and AJ Styles to main event WrestleMania.

"The Viper" Randy Orton and former two-time WWE Champion AJ Styles' match at WrestleMania 35 was made official this past Tuesday following SmackDown Live. AJ and Randy Orton stepped into the ring with one another and held nothing back when sharing their respective thoughts about the other. Randy mentioned that while AJ was in Florida "tanning" with Dixie Carter, he was winning the World Heavyweight Championship in WWE and AJ responded to Randy by saying that Randy was built for WWE and would not have made it on the independent scene.

The promo between the two men caught the attention of WWE Hall Of Famer Mark Henry who went in-depth about their forthcoming match on an edition Busted Open Radio. Henry made the case that AJ versus Randy could headline WrestleMania and praised the accomplishments of both men.

“This is one of those matches that people look at and go, ‘It’s not filler’. These are both stars, both guys that have been champion multiple times and as much as we wanna see Daniel Bryan and Kofi in the main event -- we wanna see what’s going to happen with Charlotte, Becky and Ronda as a main event, what we wanna see is Seth Rollins versus Brock as a main event. This [AJ Styles versus Randy Orton] is a main event match. This is a main event match guys." Henry expressed. "Randy Orton is, in my opinion and I’ve said he’s not on the Mount Rushmore yet but he’s slowly, slowly entering that top fifteen, top ten of all-time. I mean, he is that damn good, and then AJ Styles, from the time that he was an indie guy, until he worked his way up and worked down South to now, coming to the WWE, he did everything at every level that there is to do and he has become an elite champion. Not just a champion, but one of the guys that could carry the load and he has carried it for the last two years, so why wouldn’t this be in the conversation as a main event match at WrestleMania."
