Braun Strowman is high on Mark Henry's priority list at AEW.
After making his debut at AEW Double or Nothing, AEW announced that Mark Henry has signed a multi-year deal with the promotion. Henry will not only be one of the commentators on AEW Rampage, but he will work in talent development as well.
Speaking with TMZ, Henry commented on the possibility of Braun Strowman joining the promotion. He said the following:
"Super high on my list. It's not an all Mark Henry decision, but there already is interest on both sides. Hopefully, by the time he's allowed to wrestle in August, I think the middle of August, then we can have a serious conversation about contractual things of that nature but right now there's interest on both sides."
Strowman was released by WWE on June 2, not long after he competed for the WWE Title at WrestleMania Backlash in a triple threat match.
Henry also mentioned another former WWE talent that he is a big fan of, but can't talk to yet as they're currently working with another company.
"Big Cass too," said Henry. "I love that guy. I don't want to talk to people while they have contracts with people. I don't think that that's fair."
Cass is currently working for IMPACT Wrestling as W. Morrissey. He is coming off of a victory against Rich Swann at June 12th Against All Odds event.
