Matt Cardona invites Bobby Lashley to GCW.
Fans continue to buzz about Bobby Lashley's future, as Fightful Select reported that his WWE contract is up within the next month or so, and he intends to continue wrestling if they don't reach a new deal.
Matt Cardona took to Twitter and shared a picture of Bobby Lashley slamming him. The image was from his last WWE match as Zack Ryder, which aired on the March 9th, 2020, episode of WWE Raw. Cardona wrote that Lashley "killed" Zack Ryder, and he wanted to thank him in a GCW ring.

His his WWE release n April 2020, Cardona has reinvented himself on the independent scene. Cardona has been working with GCW since 2021, and he has been making appearances as the General Manager while he has been out injured due to a torn pectoral muscle.
Lashley would not be the first former WWE Champion to pop up in GCW in 2021 if he made an appearance, as Raj Dhesi, formerly known as Jinder Mahal, showed up at their So High Event. He is set to face Effy at GCW Now and Forever.
