After winning the GCW World Title from Nick Gage, Cardona promised changes to the belt. He delivered, going with a purple strap, velcro attachment, and a spinning centerpiece.
The belt was created by Belts By Dan and pays tribute to John Cena's WWE Championship.

Cardona is set to defend the GCW Universal Title in an open challenge at GCW Art of War Games on September 4.
Cardona won the GCW World Title against Nick Gage in a deathmatch at GCW Homecoming Weekend and has successfully defended the belt against Sam Stackhouse.
