Matt Cardona still wants to face Adam Copeland.
Matt Cardona answered questions on social media on October 22. When one fan asked him whether he had a dream match with anyone from any promotion and any area, Cardona simply responded by naming Adam Copeland.

During his WWE tenture, Cardona first rose to prominence as one of the Edgeheads alongside Curt Hawkins. They were featured alongside Edge in La Familia, which also included Edge (Copeland), Vickie Guerrero, Chavo Guerrero, and Bam Neely. Cardona and Hawkins have remained connected with Copeland over the years.
Ahead of what turned out to be Edge's last WWE match before he left the company, Cardona noted that the WWE Hall of Famer had to wait for him to return, presumably so they could face each other.
A lot has changed since then, as Copeland signed with AEW and debuted at AEW WrestleDream. Since then, he has been a featured member of the roster.
