Matt Cardona says multiple matches have fallen through.
GCW will return to The Hammerstein Ballroom with The People vs. GCW on January 19th. As a former GCW World Champion, Cardona has been one of GCW's top stars in recent years, and he will compete at the show. As previously announced, Cardona has issued an open challenge.
On January 12th, Matt Cardona looked forward to The People vs. GCW and said that it might be the most important show in GCW history. He stated that his match has been snakebit, as eight different matches have fallen through over the past few months. Cardona noted that it was an open challenge, and he would be ready for whoever stepped up to the plate.
He also noted that whether it was someone in GCW or a talent from another company, he would create a moment and win.
Next Sunday in NYC may be the most important show in the history of @GCWrestling_.
