Matt Hardy Talks Bray Wyatt, King Maxel, The Young Bucks, And A Possible Return To WWE

Broken Matt Hardy was interviewed by Main Event Radio to talk about Total Nonstop Deletion, which airs tonight on Pop TV. Hardy discussed what to expect at Tag Team Apocalypto, how much longer he plans to wrestle, whether he would like an ownership stake in TNA, appearing in ROH, and more. Who will be the surprise Tag Team Apocalypto appearances?:

NJPW x STARDOM Historic X-Over II Results (11/17): Zack Sabre Jr. And Maika Team Up

"The Express that Rocks n' Rolls. Yes they have aged a bit but they both have very vital souls. They are very healthy and they will be in action. People will be very surprised. Decay and Crazzy Steve will appear. Helms Dynasty will appear. James Storm, Bram, and Eddie Kingston will be there. There will be 3 or 4 times where the wrestling world will be surprised and that's what I want to do. Make wrestling unpredictable again."

Will The Young Bucks show up?:

"If they can have the testicular fortitude to appear they will. I hacked the ROH screen and I challenged them. Many fans around the world feel that The Bucks of Youth are currently the most exciting tag team in the business. Myself and Brother Nero, we must defeat them to show that we are the greatest tag team in all of space and time. We will have to seek them out and go to the honorable ring and beat their little spot monkey ass."

Hardy Challenged Bray Wyatt to appear and Wyatt responded:

"I'm glad that he responded. So many people at Vince Meek-Mahan's show are puppets and they are afraid of Meek-Mahan. You cannot be afraid of him. He is nothing more than another mortal vessel. They responded and I'm very glad they did. I have quite an issue with them. We had the Final Deletion and then a week later they had a fight that emulated it from the Wyatt compound. So at some point House Hardy will come back and have a battle with House Wyatt...it is inevitable, we are on a collision course with them."

On The In-Ring Debut Of His Son King Maxel Hardy:

"I will have to say that he is certainly the youngest wrestler to ever have a global TV debut at 17 months old. I'm sifting through possible opponents. The Disco Inferno has flown into North Carolina and he is possibly my pick to face Maxel. It is not confirmed yet, right now he is the top prospect. I want to give him a match that is going to be a strong competitive match. His wrestling career is in its infancy and I want to give him an opponent of equal talent, equal opportunity."

Hardy's TNA contract is up in February 2017; is he planning to stay on Impact or return to WWE:

"I don't know where I will be at this point. I would like to try and help Impact Wrestling grow and reach it's full potential. Otherwise, Vince MeekMahan would love to get his hands on me and my broken brilliance. He loves me and he covets me. In a perfect world if I can come to terms with Impact Wrestling and we can agree on everything, then I could help it reach that full potential. If not I maybe will just come home to Home Hardy and manage things here. MeekMahan has a huge monopoly and it's a great platform to be on but I am not going to be a puppet, a yes man. I will not take direction, I do what I want to do. I don't know if that will work well there. I will also not do that schedule at this time as I have to take care of young King Maxel."

Would he like to potentially purchase shares in Impact?

"Do not be fooled maybe it is my money going into Impact Wrestling going forward. There will be many changes and differences going into 2017. If I have a piece of the pie where I can inject my broken brilliance into it then I would like to. There are actually true changes that are easy to see on a surface level and that's all I can say at this time. Right now my goal is to get Impact Wrestling back to where it needs to be. My Broken universe is trying to give it an identity. I'm very loving and appreciative of the wrestling world."

On preferring a name-change for TNA::

"The name 'TNA' just has a negative connotation in many ways and it needs to be deleted and be bridged into something else. I am fully in belief of that."

His career renaissance of a year:

"Winning the title of the world was quite an illustrious moment. When I became broken it has elevated me, brought me higher than ever before in the past. We are changing the way that the wrestling world operates. Apocalypto will be the most entertaining, fun wrestling match that anyone will ever see in their life."
