Matt Hardy thinks that there will be many more bouts between The Hardys and the Young Bucks in the future.
On the August 9 edition of AEW Dynamite, the two teams faced off with one another for the eighth time, but only the second time in All Elite Wrestling.
Matt and Nick Jackson were able to score a victory over The Hardys this time, something they were unable to do during their first match in AEW, which occurred back at the Double Or Nothing pay-per-view in 2022.
On the latest episode of The Extreme Life Of Matt Hardy podcast, Hardy talked about the chemistry that he and his brother have with the Young Bucks and noted that he thinks the two teams will still have many battles to visit in the future.
“Any time we hook up with the Bucks, I feel like we have really good chemistry, we make magic happen. We have quality matches and I feel very good about tonight, excited for it. I know I said I definitely had another match with the Bucks left, but I think we have many, many matches with the Bucks left. I think there is still plenty of meat on the bone as far as a Hardys-Young Bucks conflict going forward.”
When a fan brought up the possibility of a Ladder Match between the two teams, Hardy stated that he thinks there will be a point where they could make that happen.
“I think there is a point where we could get to a Hardys/Young Bucks ladder match, I would love to do that.”
The Hardys and the Young Bucks last wrestled in a Ladder Match at the ROH Supercard Of Honor pay-per-view in 2017. The following night, Matt and Jeff Hardy would return to WWE at WrestleMania 33.
The Young Bucks are set to challenge FTR for the AEW World Tag Team Championships at the upcoming All In stadium show. Fans can see the updated card for that event by clicking here.
