Matt Hardy wants John Cena to explain his ties to The Rock.
On the March 24 edition of WWE Raw, John Cena and Cody Rhodes traded verbal barbs once again. After the promo, fans started to voice their complaints about Cena and his lack of addressing his connection to The Rock following the Elimination Chamber event.
Matt Hardy agrees with this sentiment, noting that it is the only question mark that he has about the feud between Rhodes and Cena.
“I’m still okay with it. Once again, I would love to hear why he decided to choose The Rock as opposed to seeing how he’s always done his own thing. I would love to hear why he decided to choose The Rock, that’s really the only question mark I have more than anything else. I don’t mind him coming out and working to get cheaper heat, in some ways I like the face that he’s doing everything that he possible can to remain booed and not be cheered so I do respect him for that. I love the fact that he comes out and he whines and he complains and moans and just talks nonstop, just whiny little bullshit. That’s the complete opposite of who John Cena is as a person in general, especially as a character. His character was an extension of who he is a person. I do like the fact that he is going down that route and I am excited for the match just for the fact that it feels like generation vs generation, you have the new John Cena versus the OG John Cena.” Hardy said on the latest edition of his The Extreme Life Of Matt Hardy podcast.
