Vince McMahon made the Billionaire Strut famous during his time as an on-screen television character, power walking to the ring with his arms flailing by his side. Conor McGregor may have taken it to a new level, imitating the strut as he walks around the Octagon.
Matt Riddle knows a thing or two about competing inside the Octagon and currently works for McMahon, so that makes him qualified to compare and contrast their respective Billionaire Struts.
"Well, let’s be honest Vince is the originator, he's the original and his bank account is probably way bigger than Conor McGregor's," Riddle told The Sun. "Even though Conor McGregor is the showpiece and he's the fighter and he can create a lot of controversy and money but this is the original. But I'll say this, Connor does it and then usually knocks you unconscious, or after vice versa, you know, so it's a more intimidating walk."
If Conor is to be believed, we won't be seeing the Billionaire Strut anymore in the Octagon has he retired this past Saturday. Of course, McGregor has "retired" two times previously, neither of which ended up sticking.
Riddle is set to debut on WWE SmackDown at some point in the coming weeks.
